Are you going to drop anything??

Sadie came with me to take the boys to school, as usual, and we came home and had a little nap together on the sofa. She had some mango, strawberries and pineapple (she loved the mango!)
We picked up Ch and she stayed here with him while I picked up A and C and went downtown to drop C off for a rehearsal. I am getting dinner ready and she is not far away at any point! Soon you will be home and I will be sad to see her go. I do adore her!

Cloud! The day she was groomed (Thursday)

This was taken Sunday. Sadie with "chuck"

Well, Friday Ch's class mate, Issy, was dropped off here in the a.m. to ride around with us taking the other boys to school. We dropped Sadie at home after right before we went to the train station to send Ch off to Toronto for the math competition. Sadie helped me get packed up to be ready to leave for Ottawa Sat. a.m. at 6:00. The oldest received detailed instructions and took great care of all the pets, Scooter included until we got home Sunday late afternoon (today). Sadie was very happy to see me (and I her!) We played a little with Chuck, had a little cuddle and she is now snoring at my feet. In Ottawa I saw a very cute yorkie/poodle cross named "petzel". I would have gladly brought him home!

"Awwww! She looks like a cloud!"

This is what C said as soon as he saw Sadie and her new haircut. She does look like a sweet puppy. She had lots of fruit today and pawed and barked at me at the soccer field, in spite of pre-practice snacks. She did accidentally get a couple of mouths full of cat food this evening, but we caught the little piggy quickly. Tomorrow a.m. she will have to stay in her crate as I will be hanging in town for a bit in the a.m. with Ch and a fellow team member before they catch their train. I will post a picture of her new "do" tomorrow! ;o)

Taking good care...

I went to Toronto yesterday for a OCC meeting and left Sadie's pill responsibilities in the hands of those at home. I was so happy to hear that C had given Sadie both her pills himself, one at a time, without any cream cheese. C and I leave Saturday a.m. to go to Ottawa until Sunday evening so A will be in charge of Sadie.

Mr Bunny

Sadie has been doing great. Today she went to her bed and got "Chuck" without any prompting and gave him a good shake! last night Sadie met "Mr. Bunny". He belongs to a boy on C's soccer team. They had him hopping about freely and he comes when called (so cute) I was a bit nervous about Sadie wanting to attack, but she really wanted to play. I think she has no clue what a bunny is!

Sadie is just hoping she will get a morsel of egg (she did not, FYI) She likes to sit where ever C is sitting. Not sure if it is because he is always eating or not. We had soccer last night and, of course, she came along. She started to woof at me about 6:00 to inform me that we are late for supper. She rolled in the clipped grass (and bird poop) covering herself in grass clippings and did the same things this morning in the Welborne yard. Right now she is napping on the cool tile floor, snoring away.

Scruffy!

Have you seen a scruffier beast?! She is so funny. She needs a bath and I don't think it can wait until she is groomed on Thursday. At Dr. Simms today, Sadie got some new pills for 10 days as a precaution. He temp is fine, she is perky, all is good.

She had some orange after breakfast and had some apple as an evening snack to tie her over until dinner, which I can give her now. She stares and woofs at me. She was in the studio with me today and I went up to make tea. She made it up to the landing and then barked at me to come get her. when I got to her, she went back down again. she did not want to come up, she wanted me to come back down. What a nut.
